Documentary: Dive into “fire from hell”

Ever since the last attempt in Centralia, Pennsylvania, George Kourounis, together with his fellow explorer – Sam Cossman, made another venture to hell of fire. This time, they step foot into Marum Crater, the world’s most dangerous and inaccessible volcano.

Cited from the Huffington post, George recounts,

“Getting to [Marum] was kind of like a reverse climbing of Everest. The volcano fought back at us, and we had to deal with terrible weather, tremendous heat from the lava, descending and ascending 400 meters of near vertical, loose rock face, acid rain so strong that it could have come from a car battery, and a variety of other craziness.”

During the interview with Huffington Post, he explained why he is doing so. He wants to travel around the world documenting world’s most extreme and inaccessible places. More importantly, he wants to share what he see to the rest of the world. ¬†A true adventure indeed.
