Passenger and commercial vehicle brands to showcase more than 150 new, current and concept cars
Singapore (12 January 2015) – The Singapore Motorshow 2015 offers families a full day of exciting new cars, stunt driving shows, competitions and entertainment. Visitors to the Singapore Motorshow 2015 will get to see a large array of vehicles that will be on display in Singapore for the first time. The four day event to be held January 15 to 18, 2015 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, features several cars making their Singapore debut, including concepts from Lexus, Renault and Subaru.

A total of 21 passenger and commercial vehicle makers will be showcasing at least one new model or variant at the Show. These include Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, ChangAn, Citroen, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, JAC, Jaguar, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Range Rover, Renault, Subaru and Volkswagen.
In collaboration with Subaru, Motor Traders Association of Singapore (MTA) will give away a Subaru Impreza.
Aside from the many vehicles on display, the Motorshow will also showcase automotive accessories and innovative technologies. Visitors will be able to learn about Shell’s latest innovation in motor oil, Shell PurePlus Technology. This technology, in combination with proprietary Active Cleansing Technology, has yielded premium motor oils such as Shell Helix Ultra.
Subaru will also be presenting stunt driving performances by Russ Swift. Tickets for Russ Swift’s show are separate from the Motorshow entrance ticket. They will be available free for collection on-site an hour before each show and must be collected in person and upon presentation of a valid entrance ticket. Tickets are limited and will be given out on a firstcome-first-served basis.

For visitors that are feeling charitable, they can also purchase mineral water from HL Bank, whom is the Official Bank Sponsor for this event. Each bottle is priced at S$1.50 and all proceeds will be donated to TOUCH Seniors Activity Centre. HL Bank is hoping to raise S$30,000 during Singapore Motorshow 2015 which will be used by TOUCH to run programmes benefiting some 790 seniors.

Throughout the event, MediaCorp artistes from Channel 8’s drama Good Luck (百岁大吉), Channel U’s Let It Go (分手快乐), Suria’s Selamat Pagi SG and The Interns as well as the hosts of The 5 Show, Chua En Lai and Yasminne Cheng, will be making special appearances. Children will also be able to meet their favourite characters, Ollie and Cherry from Okto. There will also be stage performances by Campus Superstar winner Bonnie Loo, Project Superstar Alumni (Tan Yan Hua, Aeden Kang and Germaine Ng), Tay Kewei and Vasantham’s Annamalai Casts and Friends hosts (Karthik, Udaya and Varman). And special performances by winners of MediaCorp’s talent show winners – Alfred Sim, Farisha Ishak and Shabir Tabare Alam – who will be singing the 3 finalist songs from MediaCorp’s songwriting competition, “The Gift of Song”.
Daily tickets to the event are priced at $6 per entry. Entry is free to anyone below 120cm in height. There will also be a limited amount of special preview tickets available at $10 per entry. The special preview tickets will allow visitors to enter the show at 12 noon on 15 January instead of 5pm on the same day when the show opens to the general public. All tickets are only available for purchase on-site.
