Adultery market (I think that’s the best way to describe Ashley Madison’s business) is growing fast in the technology space. It has been reported that Ashley Madison is making so much money that they are ready for IPO.
I am not sure how many Singaporean still remember this company. Back in 2013, the website is banned in the conservative Singapore as it provides an avenue for married couples to look for affair. The company has reported 35 million members in 46 countries. It claims that they are the second largest dating website just behind Match.com. Just last year, the company has made US$115 million of sales which is about 4-fold increases since 2009.
