Singapore, 13 March 2015: Casio Singapore has today released the new EXILIM EX-ZR3500, its latest addition to the EXILIM ZR series of compact digital cameras. Featuring state-of-the-art Bluetooth® Smart Technology and an enhanced Make-up Plus mode, users can now take high-quality self-portraits and share them[1] instantly and easily with their loved ones through their smartphones.
Instantaneous photo sharing via Bluetooth® Smart Technology
In addition to the built-in Wi-Fi capability of previous EXILIM digital cameras, the EXILIM EX-ZR3500 is armed with Bluetooth® Smart technology, which allows for a constant connection between the camera and a smartphone via the EXILIM Connect application. Captured images will be seamlessly and automatically transferred to the paired smartphone that is within the camera’s detectable range. The wireless connection is also maintained using Bluetooth Smart® technology even when the camera is switched off, enabling the smartphone to control the camera remotely for ease of viewing and transferring of photos.
Photos taken with the EX-ZR3500 will also be uploaded automatically onto Scene[2], a cloud-based photo album via EXILIM Connect. This allows for easy sharing with travel companions, family and friends.
Capture better and more beautiful self-portraits and group shots
The EX-ZR3500 is equipped with Make-up Plus mode, an enhanced feature of Casio’s Make-Up mode which automatically detects faces, brightens skin tone and smoothens complexion. Make-Up Plus captures selfies in outstanding resolution, retaining the sharpness of every stand of hair and producing a more natural skin texture with reduced visual noise, made possible with the camera’s bigger 1/1.7-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor.
Users can also adjust skin tone and smoothness according to their desired preference when viewing the image and when done, can easily share the beautiful selfies on their social networks via EXILIM Connect.
The camera’s Front Shutter and a 180-degree tilt-type LCD screen assists users in composing and capturing the perfect selfie or group shot framed at any angle. The shutter can also be activated with a wave of a hand, making it even easier to capture photos from a distance.
Capture Stunning Shots in a Variety of Situations
Featuring a 1/1.7-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the EX-ZR3500 produces sharper images in low-light settings and when shooting in burst mode. With a F2.8 wide-angle lens, users can also capture impressive night shots. The camera’s wide-angle 25mm 12x optical zoom lens also enables users to capture shots from a distance while retaining its high-resolution image quality. The Magnifying Glass mode allows users to capture clear and sharp shots of tiny objects in macro mode by utilising the digital zoom, Super Resolution (SR) zoom and High Definition (HD) zoom.
Integrated optical image stabilisation is also ensured with Casio’s HS Anti Shake feature which precisely corrects shakes on five axes, resulting in crisp and clear images at all times.
Users can also unleash their creativity by creating their personal time lapse movie via stitching together a series of still images captured by the Interval Shot function, which is perfect for capturing a sunrise or sunset.

The innovative EXILIM EX-ZR3500 is available in four colours (White, Gold, Yellow and Pink) at all Casio authorised retailers at a Suggested Retail Price of SGD$579.00.
Casio will also introduce the new EXILIM EX-ZR2000 in April, which also boasts the Bluetooth® Smart, an 18x optical zoom lens and Make-up Mode.
