Holiday Inn Resort®Kandooma Maldives announces that its culinary team won the prestigious “Gold Medal” from the recently concluded Asian Economy Countries (AEC) Culinary Challenge 2015, held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 2-5 September.

Themed “Inspire and Create the ASEAN Cuisines of Tomorrow”, the culinary challenge was participated by 8 countries. Executive Chef Vincent Tan, Chef Nguyen Troung Luat and Chef Truong Vinh Co represented Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives (Vietnam) and emerged the grand winners by preparing, cooking and presenting cuisines famous from the seven competing nations.
The resort’s Culinary Team will be participating in the Maldives Culinary Challenge 2015 coming up from 18-21 September 2015.
