One product worth mentioning is the Casio’s EXILIM EX-FR10 which won one of the three Innovative Awards at the 6th Annual HWM+Hardwarezone.com Tech Awards.
As a camera, the FR10 is truly one of a kind, consisting of a main camera module and LCD equipped controller. When put together however, the LCD screen functions as a viewfinder, to be used like a conventional camera. This is where Casio makes it interesting– the camera also boasts a selfie mode which flips the viewfinder a full 180 degrees, which is ideal for composition of self-portraits. When detached, the FR10 camera module connects to LCD controller via Bluetooth technology, allowing the user to really get creative with angles. Besides this, the device also connects to your smartphone using Wi-Fi, making transferring and sharing photos a dream. The icing on the cake is the 14 megapixel lens, a long lasting battery life and its compact size which make this camera a distinct cut above others.
