Waku Doki is defined by the excitement and heart-pumping joy (Waku Waku) one feels while your chest beats (Doki Doki) with happiness. The term encapsulates the motoring brand’s long-standing inspiration behind all of its design and performance blueprints, it embodies the thrilling anticipation one experiences while cruising in a Toyota vehicle. Today, Waku Doki continues to be one of the brand’s integral hallmarks, and constantly plays a vital role in steering the brand’s strategic directions.

 

Toyota Waku Doki Moments encapsulates everything that makes your heart beat faster; from shared moments with loved ones, to adventurous trips with friends. The roadshow event will give visitors a taste of Waku Doki through nostalgic memories of Toyota owners themselves, and encourage you to create new Waku Doki moments of your own.

Automobile lovers, families and casual shoppers alike will be treated to a tangible taste of Waku Doki at the VivoCity roadshow. A five-day event spanning Wednesday through Sunday, the carnival-roadshow not only promises to let visitors learn more about what the latest Toyota models can offer, but also to let them experience the essence of Waku Doki with a wide range of fun and interactive activities on-ground.

 

Car buyers can enjoy a bounty of cost-saving gifts, from complimentary upgrades worth up to $5,000 to the Elegance across selected models, to giveaways totalling nearly $10,000 worth in petrol vouchers for lucky buyers. Expect an Instant Gratification Game where players could win up to a $1,000 worth of discounts and prizes with a lucky drop.

 

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take pictures with prop versions of Toyota’s concept car, the FT1, as well as the sporty 86 on-site. One could even seize the chance to snap a video or take pictures with Toyota’s beautiful car models and delightful THUMS mascot, and upload it to Instagram (#WakuDoki). All Waku Doki moments shared on the Waku Doki wall at the carnival will stand a chance to win a whole weekend’s test drive for the legendary Corolla Altis, or the adventure-seeking RAV4 SUV.
