Singapore, 27 May 2015 – Samsung Electronics Singapore today announced the availability of the Gear VR Innovator Edition for S6. Powered by Oculus technology, and fully optimised and compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S6 4G+ and Galaxy S6 edge 4G+, it delivers truly immersive and cinematic virtual reality experiences with an ergonomic and comfortable design.

Samsung today also announced the retail availability of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ in Green Emerald, a colour exclusive to this device and never seen before on Samsung smartphones. This is in addition to the popular variants currently available – White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
Immersive Virtual Reality Content
Dedicated to creating a breathtaking world with its realism, the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition for S6 leverages the smartphones’ high resolution stereoscopic view to deliver an immersive entertainment experience. The large 5.1” display of the headset, combined with the 96-degree wide field of view and ultra high resolution of the smartphones allows consumers to take on virtual reality with more depth.

The Pass-Through feature on the headset allows users to see the real world through the rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy S6 4G+ smartphone. The headset is able to notify users of incoming calls and messages.
