Singtel & Lazada Singapore Launch 99% SME e-marketplace

Singtel has partnered Lazada Singapore to launch the 99% SME e-marketplace. It is a dedicated portal hosted on Lazada.SG for local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to advertise their offerings and tap on a wider online customer base.

Singtel and Lazada’s partnership is the first in Singapore to rally and support local SMEs to operate in the fast-growing e-commerce market

Singtel, together with DBS and other partners, launched the inaugural 99% SME campaign in 2015 to rally all in Singapore to use products and services offered by SMEs. The highlight of the SME campaign is the annual SME Week in October where participating SMEs give customers special offers.

About 99% SME

99% SME is the first privately-funded, nationwide movement founded in 2015 by Singtel and DBS, with the support of Mediacorp, to encourage all in Singapore to use products and services offered by SMEs, which make up 99% of companies here. More than 1,500 SMEs participated in the inaugural campaign and over 2,500 took part last year. This year, the campaign aims to help SMEs leverage e-commerce to reach out to a wider customer base.
