Movie fans can now purchase tickets using the efficient and reliable online process

Singapore, February 2016– Golden Village has made the cinema experience even more convenient for patrons. The local cinema giant is the first cinema operator in Singapore to successfully implement Visa Checkout®, a seamless and user-friendly online purchasing method. With Visa Checkout®, patrons just need to input their existing username, password and a computer generated One Time Password (OTP) to purchase Golden Village and Gold Class® tickets. At present, Visa Checkout® has been used in approximately 12% of the transactions done via Golden Village’s website.

Visa Checkout® eliminates the need to enter credit card numbers, CVV numbers and credit card expiry dates. It can be accessed on all mobile devices, whether Androids or iPhones. Thanks to the use of advanced security features, cardholders are assured that their card details are safe from external threats. To enroll, users just need to log on to destination&locale=enSG&country=SG.

Call of Duty fans from all over the Asia-Pacific, brace yourselves for an explosive start to the New Year. During the first half of January, online competitions for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and South East Asia will take place and four teams from these regions will secure their spots in the Call of Duty Asia Championship Final, to be held in Taiwan, at the 2016 Taipei Game Show.

The Call of Duty Asia Championship will be featuring the latest Call of Duty game, “Call of Duty: Black Ops III”, and will be played on the PlayStation platform.

On January 9th and 10th 2016, online qualifiers will be held for players from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines). The top placers from each qualifier will earn the right to represent their region and compete with other regions at the main stage of PlayStation booth at 2016 Taipei Game Show on February 1st 2016.

Singapore, 28 December 2015: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has signed a management agreement with Kebsup Group Company Limited to open the first Hotel Indigo®
in Phuket.

Set to open its doors to guests in 2018, the 180-room Hotel Indigo Phuket Patong will be located in the northern end of the bustling Patong beach town, renowned for its lively shopping scene and a wide variety of restaurants and bars peppering the busy streets. Guests staying at Hotel Indigo Phuket Patong will enjoy the hotel’s close proximity to the beach in the day and the easy access to the town’s vibrant night life after sundown.

Hotel Indigo is IHG’s boutique brand. Each Hotel Indigo property is designed to reflect the culture, character and heritage of the local neighbourhood it is located in, so no two properties are the same.

Guests at the new Hotel Indigo Phuket Patong can fully immerse in the stories of the Patong neighbourhood which will feature distinctly in Thai-inspired décor and artwork, whilst locally inspired menus at the hotel’s restaurants and bars will be designed to offer diners a true taste of the island.
