Dell empowers next generation workforce to “meet their match” with latest range of devices

Singapore, Oct. 8, 2013 – Dell renewed its commitment to today’s ever-changing workforce with the unveiling of its latest range of end user computing products. Cloud computing, the consumerization of IT, BYOD, Big Data – these pervasive trends have fundamentally changed the way people work. People now work from anywhere, anytime and their technology choices reflect these changing needs. Dell’s new range of products comprises both built-for business ultrabooks and personal, everyday notebooks as well as printers and touch monitors that boast improved connectivity and functionality. Close to 840 million employees in the Asia Pacific region will be classified as mobile workers by the year 2015, according to research firm IDC’s Worldwide Mob ile Worker Population Forecast 2011-2015 report. The smart device also empowers collaboration and connectivity with users able to connect and share data securely to popular cloud services of their choice.

 

Availability

  • The Dell Venue tablets will be available in selected markets in the Asia-Pacific region in the coming weeks.
  • The Dell Latitude 7000 Series Ultrabooks and the Latitude 3000 series laptops are available today. The Latitude 5000 Series will be available in late October 2013.
