TouchID & Burst Mode Confirmed. What’s else for the iPad Air 2?

Apple has announced their latest product – iPad Air 2. So what’s new in this product.

Prior to the official launch, Apple has “unintentionally” leaked the details of the iPad Air 2 in their iTune stores. See below printscreen

Based on the above leaked photo, the official launch has confirmed that the new iPad Air 2 is equipped with the TouchID that is previously available in the newer iPhones providing more security for the device.

Similar to the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple has included the Burst Mode for users who love to take pictures with their iPads.

The most noticeable difference from the older iPad Air, iPad Air 2 is 18% thinner. Given the recent #BendGate issue, I am not sure having a thinner device is still considered an “enhancement”. Nonetheless, it does look really cool on the gold edition iPad Air 2. Yes it comes with Gold Edition.

The faster A8X chip is specially designed for iPad Air 2. It boasts 12 times faster than the older A4 chip and 180 times faster when comes to graphic performance. More importantly, it is still able to maintain the battery life of more than 10 hours.

Apple shares drop 1.3% after the announcement of the new product.
